Nestled in the hills of the Upper Cumberland, you will find Roaring River Distillery, where they are keeping our Tennessee moonshine-making traditions alive.

Located just off of the Gainesboro town square, in the historic Ford Dealership building. The distillery is within walking distance from Hull on Haven. At Roaring River, they stick to the true old-fashioned craft methods and only use traditional copper and non-GMO white corn.

You would be remiss if you didn’t stop by the historic town of Granville!

This picturesque town is about a twenty-minute drive from downtown Gainesboro and just a stone’s throw from Cordell Hull Lake. Stop by the T.B. Sutton General Store in Granville and enjoy shopping the many unique handmade goods they carry in the store. Grab a root beer float or some hand-dipped ice cream and reminisce days of the old Sutton General Store.

Purchase a Town Tour Ticket at the Sutton General store and take the self-guided walking tour. The walking tour features over thirty different stops and covers 200 years of Granville’s history.

Come out to Tennessee’s number-one live Bluegrass Radio Show on Saturday nights. Located inside the T.B. Sutton General Store, different Bluegrass bands play every Saturday night starting at 6:00 PM. Stay for some good tunes and great country cooking. Tickets are required.
