Treetop Adventures
One of the most unique features of Levi Jackson Wilderness Road Park is the opportunity for zip-lining, suspended bridges, aerial tunnels, and over 50 other treetop activities. The facility reopens on Memorial Day with prices ranging from $18-$26 per person. Reservations are dependent on weather, so be sure to call ahead before you head out if you’re worried about conditions.
Swimming Pool
Also opening on Memorial Day and lasting through Labor Day is the public pool. Available for birthday parties and other events, cool off from the Kentucky heat with the Cumberland community.
McHargue’s Mill
For those interested in the historical significance of Levi Jackson Wilderness Road Park, the McHargue’s Mill replica is a must-see. Set on the banks of the Little Laurel River, the authentically designed watermill transports visitors back into the pioneer era. The mill stones featured outside are the actual stones pioneers travelled with over the Wilderness Road in 1805. Open seasonally, grab some fresh ground corn meal after enjoying a piece of Kentucky’s history.
Miniature Golf
One of the many courses in the parks surrounding the Cumberland basin area, Levi Jackson Wilderness Road Park offers an 18-hole course conveniently located adjacent to the campground. The course is open year-round but dependent on weather conditions so call ahead.
Levi Jackson Clubhouse and Outdoor Shelters
Equipped with restrooms, a full kitchen and even a fireplace, this beautiful bright blue clubhouse is the perfect place to host an event. The venue has hosted family reunions, wedding receptions, business luncheons and more.
