Clear Fork is a 27-mile stream that flows through Fentress and Scott counties before draining into the Big South Fork of the Cumberland River. The stream flows through large sections of Big South Fork National Recreation Area and Rugby, TN. The stream provides good swimming spots and runs along several hiking trails in the Big South Fork area.
The Cumberland River Basin project aims to promote the ecological and economical health of the Cumberland River Basin, an 18,000 square mile region that stretches across 70 Tennessee and Kentucky counties and home to more than 2 million people.
