  • Carolina wrens are adapted to a variety of habitats. They thrive anywhere with abundant trees and bushy undergrowth, including forests, farmlands, and suburbia. 
  • Males of the species know over 30 calls and can learn more, if they learn them in the first few months of their lives.  
  • Carolina Wrens are small but spunky and will noisily scold you or other animals get too close to their nests. 
  • Wrens often build multiple nests to deceive predators.
