  • Red Fox are an invasive species in Australia and have greatly impacted native species of mammals and birds in the country. 
  • Females foxes are vixens, males are known as dogs, tods or reynards, and young are called kits. 
  • Foxes are social animals and form close-knit families. Kits will remain with their parents to help raise the families next generation.
